💡 Grew up as a professionally trained moderator who hosted province-wide events that were streamed on television in China, I recognized the lack of public speaking education for youth and strive to help more students discover the power stored in their voices.

Protesting against AAPI hate crimes.
💡 As an immigrant student who was born and raised in China for 9 years, I aspire to become the voice for fellow AAPI whose voices have been stifled. I became one of the lead organizers for a student-led anti-AAPI hate crime protest with mayors, city council members, and education board members in attendance.

Reducing the cost of water bills during the pandemic.
💡 As the Executive Assistant at CA-16 candidate Rishi Kumar's congressional campaign, I led an internship program of 300+ interns and worked on 15+ projects. One of the most impactful projects I worked on was successfully reducing the cost of San Jose Water Company's GRC rate by ~8%, decreasing the cost of water bills for hundreds of thousands of citizens during the pandemic.

💡 At LaunchX, an entrepreneurial program taught by professors from Harvard, MIT, and Wharton, my team and I recognized the time restraints immigrants have before they are deported, preventing them from finding a perfect lawyer in time. As a result, immigrants are deported without receiving the proper legal assistance they deserve. Thus, we created Ternify, a fast and reliable immigration lawyer match system that helps immigrants find a lawyer within hours.
