About Me. 🙋♀️
Born and raised in Shenzhen, China for over nine years, my assimilation experience into the Silicon Valley culture shaped my aspirations and unique perspective on the world. As a by-product of both the Chinese and the American heritage, I hope to use my public speaking skills to establish a bridge of communication between the two cultures.
I have been a public speaker for as long as I can remember. Grew up as a trained public speaker, and my passions have always been in networking and communications. I moderated over 40 events in China, including both province-wide events that were streamed on television and school-wide ceremonies. After moving to California, I recognized the lack of public speaking education in my community and hoped to help others find the power in their voices through entrepreneurship.
Over time, I found my passion for public policy and social advocacy. I joined multiple congressional campaigns and found my passion in creating tangible impacts through social activism: whether it is holding community-based protests against AAPI hate crimes or demanding changes in legislation, I strive to help those who cannot stand up for themselves.
But social activism is not enough. I recognized the power of technology and its ability to revolutionize the world in a totally innovative and unique manner. I started programming and have created many projects related to breaking-edge technologies.
